Total War: THREE KINGDOMS Spies & Espionage Reveal
A new video is out detailing the mechanics for espionage and spies in Total War: THREE KINGDOMS. Creative Assembly gives is a brief look at a playthrough with Cao Cao.
In Total War: THREE KINGDOMS, spies aren’t just tools to perform certain actions. They give you more information about your enemy.
Your spies use two points; undercover network points and cover points. These points are then used as currency to perform certain subterfuge actions.
Spies can be turned into double agents too so you have to be wary about your spies that are capture and released by the enemy. Something very cool is that spies can also rise up in the rank and infiltrate the family of your enemy factions.
Example in the video shows a spy that became the heir to the throne of the enemy faction. Assassinating the leader would mean the entire faction could be surrendered to you. Really cool stuff.
Total War: THREE KINGDOMS releases March 7th, 2019.
