Stellaris Console Edition Launches In Q1 2019
Paradox Interactive today announced that Stellaris is coming to the PS4 and Xbox One in Q1 2019. Stellaris in Console will include the Plantoids Species Pack, Leviathans Story Pack, and the Utopia Expansion which is a pretty good chunk of new content.
Unfortunately, the console version won’t be getting update 2.2 which will makes massive changes to the game systems and core gameplay.
While Paradox Interactive hasn’t promised that they will be porting over update 2.2, which we still don’t have a release date yet, to the console edition, I’d still expect it to be out for consoles at a much later date.
Behold the enormity of space with procedurally generated galaxies with an untold number of planets to explore.
Encounter a myriad of wild, wacky, and dangerous alien races who may prove to be crucial trade partners or conquering forces hellbent on enslaving your civilization.
Take on strategic space warfare and resource management to ensure the survival and advancement of your empire.
Explore scientific anomalies and uncover technological wonders throughout the galaxy to mercilessly utilize them toward your own gains.
Govern your own fledgling empire and secure your power and agenda through manipulating internal policies, factions, traditions and more.
Stellaris will be the first Paradox grand strategy game on the consoles bringing unparalleled depth in gameplay never before seen on the console platforms.
If you already own it on the PC, I don’t know why you would also want it on a console. But if you primarily game on a console, this is a great way to get into a real deep strategy game.
